Notice Regarding Changes to the “Minimum Markup” Rule for the “watch” Product

Thank you very much for your continued use of the KOMEHYO Auction.
We are pleased to announce that, in an effort to create a more comfortable and seamless trading environment for our members, we have revised the “minimum bid increment” rule for items listed under “watch.”

■ Background and Purpose of the Change
Recently, there has been a significant increase in high-value transactions involving the “watch” product.
Consequently, as the auction nears its end, there has been a tendency for numerous small bids to be placed repeatedly,
which has tended to increase the burden on users’ bidding operations, as well as the psychological and time-related strain caused by repeated auction extensions.
. The purpose of this change is to “reduce the burden of bidding wars” for high-value items and to “enable more efficient and speedy winning bids.”

■ Details of the Change
For bids on the “watch” product, we will be raising the “minimum bid increment”—the amount that must be added to the current price—for price ranges of 5 million yen or more. Please refer to the information below for the new minimum bid increment.
